Doğa College Tuzla Campus
A first collaboration with Doğa Colleges, reinterpreted for its shell
The Doğa Colleges group has developed its own distinctive concept style across its campuses over the years, and this Tuzla campus hall marked the group's first collaboration with Acoustic Design.
The concept brief supplied by the client needed to be reinterpreted against the realities of the hall's shell structure and its technical requirements, rather than applied directly, in order to deliver a hall of the quality expected.
Working within a flat-floor shell, a raised floor was constructed using a heavy-duty steel substructure. On the walls, acoustic timber panels were finished in the colour tones requested by the client's management, with acoustic fabric panels set within the timber framing between them.
The result is a hall that honours Doğa's established concept language while resolving the specific structural and acoustic conditions of its Tuzla shell — a strong first project for an ongoing client relationship.
