RTE Esenyurt Education Campus
An 800-seat Performing Hall within the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Esenyurt Education Campus, designed with a balanced focus on acoustics, stage functionality, and interior clarity. The project includes full design, consultancy, and implementation, resulting in a versatile venue suited for school events, performances, and community use, with lighting and AV systems integrated seamlessly into the architectural language of the space.
The largest performing hall within a major education campus
Within the education complex built in Esenyurt, this is the largest of the campus's notable halls — a multi-purpose performing hall designed to host the full range of the campus's activities.
The brief called for a two-tier seating arrangement, adding a level of complexity to the room's acoustic and sightline design beyond a standard single-level hall.
Convex-curved acoustic timber panels were combined with a stepped ceiling structure to deliver high-performance architectural acoustics across both seating tiers, with the ceiling's sculpted forms further enriched by indirect lighting.
The result is a large-scale, two-tier performing hall that gives the campus a genuine flagship venue for its full events programme.
