Adana Ceyhan Schools - Multi-Purpose Conference Hall
A turnkey conference hall built into a new campus wing
As part of a newly constructed campus building for Adana Ceyhan Schools, the brief called for a multi-purpose conference hall capable of hosting a wide range of school and community events, with the acoustic and technical fit-out delivered as a single, fully managed scope.
Acoustic Design took responsibility for the hall from concept through to completion, coordinating the acoustic, material and electronic systems as one integrated process rather than a series of separate handovers.
The hall's audiovisual and control systems were designed to work in tandem with those of the school's adjoining ball room, allowing the two spaces to be run to a shared technical logic. Internally, a restrained regional colour palette was chosen, and acoustic timber panelling was paired with additional acoustic fabric panels — a combination that shapes a contemporary interior character while also lifting the room's acoustic performance. Beyond the general lighting, an indirect stretch-ceiling lighting system with RGB control lets the hall shift between distinct atmospheres and colour moods for different events.
The result is a 310-seat conference hall that reads as considered and current, with lighting and acoustic treatment working together to give the school a genuinely flexible event space.
